Recently, the Liaoning Provincial Industry and Information Technology Commission announced the second batch of green factories in Liaoning Province. Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of Green Factory in Liaoning Province, becoming the first large-scale pharmaceutical green manufacturing system in the province containing chemical raw materials demonstration enterprise.

This green factory has been approved by the applicant, recommended by the municipal industrial and information administration authorities, on-site evaluation by third-party agencies, expert demonstration, soliciting opinions and publicity from relevant provincial regulatory authorities, and finally, Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., etc. Nine companies were identified as provincial green factories.

Since the beginning of 2018, the company has promoted the construction of a green factory system. The leadership team has attached great importance to it. It has taken the lead in formulating a medium and long-term plan for green factories, clearly defining “smart leadership, technological innovation, pollution prevention, risk control, energy saving, low carbon, sustainable development” as a green factory system building guidelines.
